Awards Night 2009 for the Floristry Industry
The annual Marjorie Milner College awards night will be held at Trinity Grammar School Kew, Centre for the Arts, 1st Floor, corner of Charles Street and Cotham Road, Kew.
Date: 29 July 2009 Time: 8pm
Awards for Victorian and Tasmanian students qualifying in Certificate II in Floristry, Certificate III in Floristry and Certificate IV in Floristry. Interflora award for outstanding first year student. Petals award for outstanding second year student and the Teleflora award for the most outstanding third year student.
Guest speaker Mrs Muriel Harmer past President of Interflora Australian Unit. Guest demonstrator Jessica Heinjus from Bountiful Garden & Casey Patten from Bryon's for Flowers of East Doncaster.
A light supper with tea and coffee will be served at the conclusion of the evening. Cost is $12.00 per head and open to all florists, family and students. No charge for graduating students.
There will also be a raffle for fundraising for the Victorian Floristry Apprentice of the Year.
