My floristry career didn't really start till I was in my 30's..bit of a late bloomer with alot of catching up to do!! and developed after I could no longer continue my employment at the time due to illness. After some recovery time I remembered my curiousity at the construction of my bridesmaid bouquet I held at my best friends wedding and also the memory of been given a wreath to lay at an Anzac Dawn Service. With that I enrolled at Grovely Tafe completed my Cert II and III, did a community floristry course and volunteered at a Family Friends Shop. I am always keen to attend demonstrations,would love to assist at some stage and learn from people passionate and experienced in Floristry. A highlight for me was attending the Chelsea Flower show.I really enjoy wedding work.I currently work in 2 shops in Brisbane which I love as I have fantastic supportive bosses who do beautiful work and I'm sure I will continue to grow and learn in these environments..
