Floristry has always been my passion, from the age of 7 I was selling little posies my cousin and I made on the side of the road for 50c each. I worked as a florist for 11 years, starting with work experience at a local Florist in 1994, training as a junior at Perrotts (when Mr Smith was still around) with Irene B, Mark P and Bart H as my inspiration & mentors and working in various Florists around Brisbane. Ended up working for a boss that eventually sent me into panic attacks at the thought of going to work, so I decided it was time to believe in myself and my talents and stop making money for other people. "I will not work as a florist again until it is in my own shop", I told myself. So, after 2 years of searching, planning, saving and a loan from my beautiful Mother, I have now been the proud owner of Flowerfusion for two years, situated in North Lakes, we personally deliver quality fresh flowers and all kinds of giftware to the northside of Brisbane, from Caboolture to Chermside.
