Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arrangement.
There are many schools of Ikebana, with vrious chapters throughout the world.
Ikebana containers, or vases, serve two purposes. They hold the Ikebana arrangement together and form a part of the Ikebana design.
Many tropical flowers are used in Ikebana. Heliconia and orchids are popular for Ikebana arrangements.
