Cranbourne Royal Botanical GardensI went to visit the Botanical Gardens at Cranbourne on the weekend and found it very educational. Within the botanical gardens is the Australian Garden. It is completley australian native plants. It was very interesting and I certainly found a few plants that I did'nt know where native. Well worth a visit if you are looking for an interesting day. I have put some photos below.

The Australian Garden is a place where visitors can immerse themselves in Australian flora, landscapes, art and architecture. This amazing new garden features a gallery of exhibition gardens, sculpture and displays - all highlighting the beauty and diversity of our Australian landscape.  The Australian Garden features approximately 100,000 plants, including 1000 trees, in 15 different landscape displays and exhibition gardens. At the Boonerwurrung Café visitors can enjoy delicious snacks and meals, while taking in the views of the Australian Garden. The Gardens Shop offers a wide range of botanically themed gifts, books and artworks.

The Australian Garden is open every day except Christmas Day, from 9am to 5pm.  Entry for adults costs AU$9.50 and for children under 16 entry is free.  The concession price is AU$7.10.

Thanks for posting this.
Didnt even know Cranbourne had a Botanical Garden.
I live in Frankston and have for the least 30 years and this is the first i have heard of this, so thankyou and we will go and have a look.
Looks good and sounds quite educational for the children and myself.
