First of all, a belated Happy New Year to all of you! There's a tidal wave of wonderful projects, events and offerings we've been cooking up here at Wisdom of the World, and I'd love for you to be aware of them.
At the top of the heap is our new Tele-Gathering Mastermind Conversations, THE INNER GAME OF THRIVING, featuring Kimberly Carter Gamble for our first introductory call coming up this Wednesday, February 8th, at 6 PM PST.
What is this "inner game of thriving" all about?For more than a decade, we've been creating resources and events that assist people in cultivating greater capacities for emotional and spiritual coherence, especially during the transitions of our lives.
"Coherence" is a term made popular by the globally renowned research organization, the Institute of HeartMath, which proved that when we manage our 'heart-brain' effectively, we can deepen a sustained sense of calm, wholeness, and a capacity for greater appreciation and a sense of connectedness to Source.
In other words, each of us can create lives that thrive! As a member of the creative team that produced the feature film documentary that everyone is talking about - we decided to take the producers' question very seriously when they asked: "Is it even possible for human beings to thrive, and if so, why aren't we?" and then they said..."Join the conversation and be a part of the solution!"
We invite you to join the solution as we explore the inner aspects of thriving with luminaries, authors and co-producers of the film. There are many directions that this film can inspire you to move towards. We decided to focus on what we're best at - and most interested in - the inner aspects of thriving.
We'll be asking questions such as:· How do you define thriving? · How would you feel if you were thriving in your life? · How does co-creation, cooperation, and collaboration relate to thriving from the inside out? The Inner Game of Thriving embraces the belief, just as Gandhi said, that 'we must become the change we wish to see in the world."
By practicing the art of open-hearted dialogue, we can utilize the power of community to awaken and strengthen our ability to move from surviving - to thriving. As we learn to work and play within this new paradigm, we believe we can transform our lives towards greater fulfillment and success in the broadest possible sense.
