Floral Demo at Buderim Ginger Flower & Food Festival Thread

Just thought I'd let you all know that Bart Hassan & Shauna Larsen from Daisys of Toowong are doing a flower demonstration on Saturday 23 January at 11am at the Buderim Ginger Flower & Food Festival. I saw them in action today and they were fabulous - as usual. I took some happy snaps but most were blurry so I won't share.

There is also an absolutely amazing collection of tropical plants available for sale as part of the festival. I saw hundreds of pots in flower - everything from siam tulips and ginger flowers through to large hanging heliconias. Gorgeous. It would be thoroughly worth the drive up from Brisbane to see all of this lovely stuff! There are also lots of foody demonstrations too.

The festival is on in the grounds of the Buderim Ginger Factory, which is actually in Yandina. Just follow the signs from the Bruce Highway.
