val	Please help with ideas and suggestions - I need to do a wedding flowers for a car bonnet. What is the best way to secure it. The flowers are - anthuriums and roses on monstera leaves. Very appreciate your help.

Sacha	Hi Val, I just did some car flowers at college the other day for my Cert. 4 studies. I connected ribbons to the side view mirrors and connected them to the front of the bonnet, effectively making the traditional wedding ribbon look. Then I used an oasis bat to arrange my flowers which were roses, anthuriums and foliage. It sounds like it would look too heavy and cumbersome but it actually looked in proportion when attached to the car. I was then able to tie the ends of the bat with the ribbon and it was quite secure. My teachers and I also discussed that if you were to wire an arrangement, you would feel 100% secure that it wasn't going to fly off! You would need to make sure that your placements in the oasis were really strong...maybe cold glue also! Not sure if this helps but I hope it goes well for you.
