A_F_A_(Aus_Florists)	Hello everyone, The AFA is about to discuss their 2010 functions, workshops and demonstration agenda. We would like some feedback from the florists in Melbourne about the types of functions you would like us to provide to you for the year 2010. Some ideas so far have been: Workshops- We would like to know the types of items you would like to make? Who you would like to see guide you at the workshop? What day is the most suitable to run the workshop on? Would you prefer to supply your own flowers? Demonstration- Who would you like to see demonstrate? What types of items? What day/evening would be suitable? Business sessions- What would you like the sessions to cover?, What day or evening would be the most suitable. We are also open to any other suggestions from you. Please have a think about these suggestions, it is important to the AFA that we provide florist with inspiration and support in our Industry. Cheers AFA Committee

David	It is great that the AFA wants to provide support to the Floristry Industry through workshops etc. I am a member of the AFA and encourage everyone to become involved in the association, without our support, they would not be able to provide us with demonstrations, competitons etc. I think a workshop on bouquet holders would be a good idea, how to cover the ugly plastic handle, how to use them correctly. I don't mind who leads the workshop. I think a Sunday would be the ideal day to hold a workshop. Perhaps the workshop could also cover costing of wedding bouquets as well. Cheers David.
