View mediaFor 100 years in Australia during the last century the Australian Florist-shop was re-known for the Trustworthy Service and Supply of FLOWERS to their Local Communities. They were known as Family Florists for every family occasion.

The Florist had slogans like “You have the THOUGHTS, we have the FLOWERS” and each Florist had their own Individual Independent Call Centre where the customer had Direct contact with the Florist providing the Personal Service..


 
FLOWERS DIRECT …THE ORIGINAL WAY… THE ONLY HONEST WAY The Customer was able to CALL into the shop personally to see and smell the flowers and be greeted with a Personal SMILE from the Family Florist who would be the actual person transforming their thoughts with Flowers into a beautiful array for their recipient friend. 

OR, the Florist making up the arrangement would receive a phone CALL from the customer DIRECT, be answered with a SMILE, with what FLOWERS, colours, items, and delivery available and suitable for the customers needs. The Florist could honestly respect the customers’ request. The customer knowing exactly, to the finest detail of the Florists Service was quite happy to pay the required price to guarantee a “job well done”
 

OR, orders came in by Mail, Telegram and Cable DIRECT to the Florist from either the Customer or a Real Live Florist, either way the order was NEVER interfered with, by those who, like the presence day, dictate and control the operation of the Florists by price setting, cloning of design and styles and controlling delivery areas.
 Whichever way a Real Live Florist somewhere, always knew who the Customer and the Recipient was. Every Customer and Recipient was a potential contact to a Real Live Florist. 

Many Florists in the Industry today, do NOT give a hoot as to where their orders originate from, as long as they receive an order by whatever means they can and at whatever cost it is to themselves and the original thoughts of the customer.
